  • Careers Advisor

    Required for January 2019

    Careers Advisor

    Prior Park College is looking to appoint an excellent Careers Advisor who will provide information, independent advice and guidance to support students and support them in making informed, ambitious career decisions. The Careers Advisor will promote, develop and embed careers activity for all year groups across the College.

    The successful candidate will be an innovative and creative thinker with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills supported by a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance or an equivalent qualification. The successful candidate will work closely with the College’s Careers Coordinator.

    This is a part time post working approximately 50 days per year.

  • Receptionist (Part Time)

    Part Time Receptionist

    A great opportunity for an exceptional Receptionist to join our friendly team at this Preparatory School in Bath. The Receptionist will act as a first point of contact for the pupils, parents, staff and visitors. As part of this role the Receptionist will also provide secretarial support.

    Accurate typing and computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel experience, are essential. Applicants should have proven communication and organisational skills, a confident and pleasant telephone manner with a flexible approach to work. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask are vital in this busy role. Relevant work experience is highly desirable.

    This is a permanent post, job sharing with the existing Receptionist. The post holder will work 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday either from 8.00 am until 1.00 pm or from 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm), predominantly during term time, with a couple of days either side of each term.
